Arsenal stars reacted on Twitter to the late comeback in Belgium.
Arsenal players reacted happily after securing an important comeback win against Anderlecht.
The Gunners were heading for defeat before late goals from Kieran Gibbs and Lukas Podolski earned a 2-1 victory.
Arsenal had dominated possession with 62.5 per cent on the night, and registered four shots on target compared to Anderlecht's three.
After a disappointing result against Hull City in the Premier League at the weekend, Arsenal took a lot of criticism, with only 11 points from a possible 24 secured.
Players like Jack Wilshere and Mathieu Flamini had spoke in the lead up to the game of their determination to start getting a run of results going, and responding with a win was vital, as well as easing their Champions League task.
The Gunners host Anderlecht in the next game, and will feel more hopeful of a simpler task in the return, but will know to under-estimate the Belgians at their peril.
Arsenal's players used Twitter after the game to give their views on the comeback, including goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, playing his first ever Champions League game for the club:
So buzzing for my Champions debut and the win , we never gave up we kept going so proud of this club , thank you for all your support #AFC— Damian Emi Martinez (@emimartinezz1) October 22, 2014
