Sir Alex Ferguson
Richard Keys feels former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has betrayed his successor David Moyes by publishing new comments on the former Everton boss in a new chapter of his updated autobiography.
Ferguson has criticised Moyes' reign at United and said he was not entirely as influential when it came to appointing him at Old Trafford.
But presenter Keys feels the Scot has 'betrayed' Moyes during an interview in which he stuck up for the former Man United boss's record, saying he didn't have as much money to spend as Louis van Gaal and arguably did a better job.
“Fergie has betrayed him," Keys told talkSPORT.
“It is wrong. I don’t think it was necessary at all but, worse than that, he has left himself down.
“I fail to understand why he [Ferguson] had to fly in the face of his own mantra, which was what goes on at the football club, stays at the football club, when he started spewing selective secrets in retirement."
