Chelsea superstar striker Diego Costa has been admitted, then released, from hospital after suffering from a virus.
While the Spaniard was only temporarily receiving treatment in hospital, his potential involvement at the weekend against Manchester United is still in jeopardy as he has a groin injury.
The player aggravated the hamstring problem whilst on Spain duty and manager Jose Mourinho recently intimated that Costa will only be in perfect fitness by mid-November.
The Stamford Bridge club, meanwhile, await the results of a scan which will reveal the extent of damage Loic Remy suffered during the 6-0 thumping they dished out to Maribor.
Elsewhere, talkSPORT state that Besiktas are one of a number of a clubs who are flocking to Petr Cech.
Mithat Halis, an agent, said: "We have not held talks yet. However, Chelsea have recently made an agreement with Besiktas. Chelsea have similar deals with Vitesse and other clubs.
"If Cech does become available Besiktas would become a potential destination."
And finally, life after Ron Gourlay may have actually begun before Gourlay left West London as Marina Granovskaia has been declared the most powerful woman in football and a woman who was behind bringing Mourinho back to SW6 as well as overseeing the transfer of Costa.
