Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome has taken to social media site Twitter for the first time since suffering alleged abuse against Leeds United.
The striker has accused Giuseppe Bellusci of making a racial comment during the two side's 1-1 draw and he tweeted on the matter yesterday evening.
As all will know a allegation has been made by myself to the referee in which he made note of and will write it in his match report— cameron jerome (@camjerome33) October 22, 2014
On what was actually said would not be fair for me to say at this point but it will be a matter for the governing body to deal with— cameron jerome (@camjerome33) October 22, 2014
Will have my time to speak and say my versions of events but this evening and twitter is not the place to do so— cameron jerome (@camjerome33) October 22, 2014
Gray pleased with striker's performances
Stuart Gray said he was happy with the defensive side of Stevie May and Atdhe Nuhiu's perofmrnaces against Brentford last night.
The Owls drew 0-0 with the London side, as both strikers continued to struggle to hit the back of the net, but Gray was pleased with the way they helped their team.
“Stevie comes alive in the box," he said to the Sheffield Star. "It will happen for him. I thought he and Attey [Atdhe Nuhiu] defended well from the front."
Evans harsh on Arnison
Steve Evans has pulled no punches with his post match interview after Rotherham United's 3-3 draw with Fulham.
The Cottagers scored in the final minutes of the match against the Millers to deny them the three points and it clearly frustrated Evans, who singled out one member of his squad for criticism.
“If you score three goals at home you should win and if Kari Arnason does his job we win as well," he said to Rotherham's official site.
Butler to extend loan
Andy Butler is expected to extend his loan with Walsall in the near future.
Although the Sheffield United defender is currently back at Bramall Lane, Nigel Clough is not expecting him to stick around for long.
“We were surprised to see Andy back because we had already done a deal with Walsall, in principle, to extend," he said to the Sheffield Telegraph.
“We’ve had a call from elsewhere though about taking him and so we’ll consider that over the next 48 hours."
