A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham defender Ben Davies says he’s not going to sulk as he looks to win his place in the side.
Davies has found first team chances hard to come back after joining the club in the summer, as the form of Danny Rose keeps him out of the back four.
“I can see this as a challenge and a step to overcome, or throw my toys out of the pram and sulk around the place,” he told the press.
The Metro claims Tottenham will try and sign Ali Alhamada for £9 million.
The paper questionably suggests that Spurs are resigned to having to sell Lloris in the New Year.
“Tottenham are ready to sign £9 million Toulouse goalkeeper Ali Alhamada in January after resigning themselves to selling Hugo Lloris,” leads the Metro’s report.
Tottenham captain Younes Kaboul claims the result against Manchester City could have gone in Tottenham’s favour.
Spurs lost 4-1 at the Etihad after failing to score some of the best chances produced during the game.
“It could have gone either way on Saturday, but unfortunately for us it went in City’s favour,” he told Tottenham’s website.
