The latest Queens Park Rangers news, views and rumours, including more on Adel Taarabt and youngster Michael Petrasso.

Adel Taarabt

The QPR - Adel Taarabt saga continues, with Italy now getting involved in the argument.

Indeed, AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has had his say on the Moroccan winger, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Serie A side.

Taarabt was accused of being overweight by manager Harry Redknapp but later hit back.

Now, Milan supremo Galliani has backed the 25-year-old's 'professional' nature.

“I can’t talk about the merits of this specific situation and I don’t want to get involved in it,” Galliani told the London Evening Standard. “All I can say is that when Taarabt was with Milan, he did very well.

“I have read what has happened this week but I don’t know the exact nature of it. However, when Taarabt was with us he played well, trained well and behaved as a serious professional.”

Michael Petrasso

Meanwhile, 19-year-old QPR youngster Michael Petrasso netted a brace for Notts County last night.

The winger is on loan at the League One side and scored twice to inspire a 3-2 comeback win at Barnsley.
