Match to be played on Saturday 25th October 2014 at 15:00. Venue: The Hawthorns, West Bromwich.
West Bromwich Albion host Crystal Palace on Saturday, with the home side sure to be bouncing after their 2-2 draw with Manchester United last time out.
The Baggies would have had cause to be slightly disappointed not to hold out for a win against Louis van Gaal’s side, but given the players on show Alan Irvine’s men can be extremely proud of their efforts.
They now face a Palace side that will want an upturn in form as soon as possible after slipping to a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea last time out.
West Brom injury concerns: Ben Foster has a calf injury and has a 75 per cent chance of being fit for the match. Victor Anichebe’s groin injury means he has only a 50 per cent chance of featuring. Claudio Yacob is expected back at the club having returned to Argentina for personal reasons although it is yet to be confirmed if he will feature against Palace.
West Brom absences: Silvestre Varela is still out after his recent groin surgery.
Palace injury concerns: James McArthur has a muscle injury but he is expected to feature.
Palace absences: Damien Delaney is suspended for this match after being sent off against Chelsea, while Scott Dan’s knee injury means he is unlikely to return until mid-November.
