CONFIRMED: Arsenal line-up v Anderlecht - Rambo starts!

Here is the Arsenal side to take on Anderlecht in the Champions League this evening.

Arsenal: Martinez, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs; Flamini; Sanchez, Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla; Welbeck

Subs: Huddart, Bellerin, Rosicky, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Campbell

Arsene Wenger will be hoping for a repeat of the performance his side produced in their last Champions League game against Galatasaray.

Danny Welbeck was the star of the show on that occasion when his hat-trick helped condemn the Turkish side to defeat after a disappointing opening performance in the competition against Borussia Dortmund.

Wenger was left immensely frustrated after his team could only manage a 2-2 draw against Hull City last weekend and he will be expecting a professional performance and a solid win.

Arsenal have been inconsistent away from home in Europe but they have the positive memory of beating better sides than Anderlecht away from the Emirates, which will fill them with confidence before kick-off.

Preparations haven’t been helped by injuries to key players, with the goalkeeper a position Anderlecht could target this evening with Wojciech Szczesny suspended and David Ospina injured.
