Birmingham City prospect Demarai Gray has admitted he felt he was not at his best during the defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
City lost 1-0 at Ewood Park, their first game after manager Lee Clark was sacked. A permanent replacement is yet to be appointed.
Gray, 18, took to Twitter after the game to assure fans he will be back to his best.
Frustrating game for me! Always gonna have them ... Team dug team tonight, important home game on Saturday next! #BCFC— Dimmy (@Demarai33) October 21, 2014
Gray was substituted after 64 minutes, and could not make any of his two attempts on goal count.

His 75 per cent pass completion rate was actually equal to his season average to date, but struggled to get on the ball, touching the ball only 31 times.
After a tough week with Lee Clark being fired, Birmingham will have desperately wanted a result, a task which was not helped by Neil Eardley receiving a red card.
They now sit 21st in the Championship, only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
