Arsenal goalkeeper helped keep the side in the game against Anderlecht.
Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made his first appearance for the club in two years.
On his last display, he conceded five goals to Reading, and this occasion, a Champions League contest, was a far more satisfactory outcome.
The Argentine was standing in for the suspended Wojciech Szczesny, with new signing David Ospina injured.
Martinez will have been disappointed to have been beaten by a header from Andy Najar, but helped keep Arsenal in the game by preventing Anderlecht from doubling their lead.
He was not called into action especially frequently, facing only three shots on target from the home side.
Arsene Wenger said in his press conference: "I had no worry for our goalkeeper because he has the presence and the quality and he resists stress well."
While only third choice, Ospina's thigh injury could be a recurring one, with Wenger admitting this week it was a long-term issue, and if the club need to call on Martinez again, this display suggested there is no need to panic.
Here's how Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter to his display...

Couldn't have won it without Alexis Sanchez. On the other hand, Emi Martinez was solid. #afc— Rowan Allion (@RowanA24) October 22, 2014

Martinez did okay. Few decent saves. Bit shakey at times, most likely down to nerves and never getting a run in the team.— Billy (@OxOfSteel) October 22, 2014
Thought young Martinez did well. Looked composed and was commanding the area. Not much blame on him for the goal— Holker Kreutz (@holger_kreutz) October 22, 2014
