Tottenham Hotspur could make several changes for the game against Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League.
Tottenham Hotspur go into this week’s Europa League game against Asteras Tripolis looking to build on a 1-1 draw against Besiktas in their last game.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be eager for his players to respond following that game, but more because of the heavy defeat the side suffered at the hands of Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend.
The Argentine was furious after the Besiktas game but he was quick to defend Vlad Chiriches after his mistake allowed former Chelsea striker Demba Ba to equalise and give the Turkish team a point.
The game will provide the Argentine with an opportunity to make a number of changes to his team, resting key first team players while offering others the chance to impress.
Here’s the potential side that Pochettino could go with for the game.
Tottenham Hotspur: Vorm, Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies, Bentaleb, Dembele, Stambouli, Townsend, Kane, Soldado
