Manchester United were expected to pick up all three points against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Monday.
United headed into the Premier League clash on the back of two successive wins and, on paper, were a much better team that the Baggies.
However, West Brom showed once again that they cannot be taken lightly when they are at home as they played out a 2-2 draw with United.
Stephane Sessegnon put the hosts in the lead after just eight minutes, but Marouane Fellaini restored parity in the third minute of the second half.
The Baggies, though, did not collapse and regained the one-goal advantage midway through the second half when Saido Berahino finished beautifully.
The expressions on the faces of the United players following that goal summed up how frustrating it was to play against West Brom. The photo above shows the disappointment of Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata after the Red Devils went 2-1 behind.
The United players, though, did find it in them to pick up a point from the encounter, Daley Blind’s wonderfully curled shot three minutes from time proving to be the fourth and final goal of the match.
