Pearce quiet on loan targets - but report claims Aston Villa youngster could head to Forest

Forest City Ground

Forest have been linked with a loan move to Jack Grealish.

Nottingham Forest are considering making an approach to loan Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mirror.

Grealish has been linked with a loan move to the City Ground but Forest boss Stuart Pearce remained quiet when it came to naming his transfer targets.

When asked about the 19-year-old, however, he did not rule anything out.

"We are always looking for good players to come in, we have made various phone calls this week and last week, about players who might come in and give us a lift," Pearce is quoted as saying by the Nottingham Post when quizzed about the possibility of loaning Grealish.

"We will continue to do that. If the right player is available and we can get the nod from their club, we will bring them in. But at this moment, the calls have not come off.

"Can we bring somebody in before Tuesday (and a trip to Watford) I would not rule anything out."

And now the Mirror suggest that the Aston Villa youngster is a concrete target for the Championship side, with the 19-year-old having signed a new deal recently but not yet having started a Premier League game this season.
