West Bromwich Albion's Twitter account came under fire on Monday night when it posted a comment regarding Manchester United player Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgian international was preparing to come on for Louis van Gaal's side when the Baggies' official account tweeted the following message:
'Fellaini has now taken his tracksuit off; fortunately he has a Man Utd strip on underneath.'
The tweet did not go down well with the United faithful and West Brom have since apologised for it. But prior to that, United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard took to Twitter himself to respond to the message.
'Complete lack of knowledge, class and respect on Twitter from WBA Official on Fellaini!!,' the Dane wrote.
He also included the hashtag 'karma' after the Belgian international scored United's first equaliser shortly after his introduction.
