Manchester City's woeful run in the Champions League continued earlier this evening as Manuel Pellegrini's side squandered a two goal advantage and clear opportunity to apply some heat on AS Roma and Bayern Munich.
Sergio Aguero and James Milner put the Citizens ahead inside the first half in Russia, yet were pegged back by Seydou Doumbia and then Bedras Natcho.
Such form has displeased British pundits, with Gary Lineker claiming City are "massively under performing" while Robbie Savage tips the Etihad Stadium side for group stage elimination.
"Manchester City once again massively under performing in the Champions League," said Lineker.
"Inexplicably so given the quality and depth of squad."
Savage added: "[This is a] terrible terrible result for City - [they are] going out."
At the halfway stage, City have banked just two points from three games.
