Chelsea’s under-19 side have been one of the most impressive teams in the UEFA Youth League so far this season and they head into the clash against Maribor in great form, having thumped Sporting Lisbon 5-0 in their last game.
The young Blues are one of the only sides with an unbeaten record in the competition so far with two extremely impressive wins from their first two games.
Chelsea have been in great form at both ends of the pitch with nine goals scored and just one goal conceded in the competition, which only adds to the confidence heading into this game.
Another win for the Blues puts them closer to that ten point mark, which is normally enough for a side to guarantee themselves a place in the knock out rounds of any competition with the same format as the UEFA Youth League.
