Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke came off the bench to make his first team debut against Maribor last night.
The 17-year-old came on for the final 18 minutes against the Slovenians, illustrating just how highly rated he is by manager Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea won the game 6-0, and Solanke may feel unlucky that he was not handed a scoring chance on his debut after the Blues won a penalty, but Eden Hazard chose to dispatch it.
Solanke is an England under-17 international, and was the top scorer at the European Championships in the summer.
He was a key player as Chelsea won the FA Youth Cup last season, and has scored two goals and provided assists in three UEFA Youth League games this campaign.
On Saturday he was an unused substitute as Chelsea beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League, and was picked against last night, going one better.
He made only five touches in his 18 minutes on the pitch, completing all of his attempted passes.
Here is a look at how Chelsea fans reacted on Twitter to Solanke coming onto make his debut:
Dominic Solanke! I hope you get more chances! Our homegrown wonder kid! Plus his dad is Nigerian! Yay #CFC— Oyinkansola (@honeydrizzles) October 21, 2014
Great to see the young lads getting a chance tonight. Zouma, Ake and Solanke! Such a bright future for us #CFC— Arran (@Azzy4466) October 21, 2014
Solanke hasn't seen a lot of action but has played safely and intelligently, not getting overexcited or desperate. Good sign.— Xander Markham (@xandermarkham) October 21, 2014
Solanke not getting involved. Should be played up top not on the right.— Cavan Short (@Cavatronnn) October 21, 2014
