Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba are two former Manchester United players that have shone since moving to Italy.
Though Tevez's departure to Serie A came via a controversial switch to rivals Manchester City, even if it was for ample compensation, Pogba on the other hand only made a handful of appearances at Old Trafford, before leaving Manchester without having a real chance to demonstrate his worth, something he has done with aplomb since he arrived in Turin.
In fact, the young Frenchman is now recognised as one of the best young players in the world, winning that title at this summer's World Cup.
The 21-year-old scored 9 goals last season as Juventus won their third Serie A title in a row, and this weekend against Sassuolo Pogba scored his first goal of the new campaign, and some strike it was too.
As Juve passed the ball through their opposition, Pogba laid it off to his Argentinian teammate who chased with his trademark determination to hold onto the ball and turn in time to return possession to the Frenchman on the edge of the area.
Pogba took one touch with his right foot before curling a superb effort past Andrea Consigli and into the far corner.
It was a demonstration of the kind of class that has seen the France international linked with a big money move back to Old Trafford, and with the club currently willing to put their money where their mouth is in order to improve the current squad, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Pogba back in the red of Manchester United.
