Liverpool defeated Queens Park Rangers 3-2 at the weekend.

Queens Park Rangers and Liverpool played out an extraordinary match on Sunday afternoon with the Reds finally coming out on top.

The game was scoreless at half-time, and there had been few signs that a goal-fest was soon to follow, but that is exactly what happened…eventually.

Liverpool took the lead in the 67th minute when Richard Dunne put through his own net but an Eduardo Vargas equaliser three minutes from time suggested QPR would get a share of the spoils.

Substitute Philippe Coutinho, however, had other ideas and the Brazilian play-maker scored what looked like being the winning goal only for Vargas to equalise again in injury-time.

But that still was not the end of the story, with Steven Caulker scoring the hosts’ second own goal of the game and ensuring Liverpool left with all three points.

It was a crazy game, and one neither side are likely to be particularly happy with given the defending on show.
