Milanic speaks about Norwich game and Leeds’ recent form

Leeds United's boss has been speaking ahead of their next game, away to Norwich City.

Leeds United head coach Darko Milanic has been speaking ahead of his side’s Championship match against Norwich City on Tuesday.

The recently-appointed boss is yet to oversee a win but in an interview with LUTV, he said there was much to be positive about going forward.

“We know that Norwich is a very good team; that they have some experienced players who are high quality,” he said.

“We also heard about their manager, (he) wants to change their system. We are prepared. We are prepared good. The guys want to make a good game tomorrow.”

Norwich are currently fourth in the Championship, just three points behind leaders Watford, while Leeds sit in 14th, although despite their disappointing recent form they remain just five points outside the play-off places.

Asked if he felt under pressure to get his first win in charge, Milanic said, “Like I said my job is, in every moment, under pressure, but I have to work hard and my job is to improve.

“We played not bad the three last games, we have a lot of quality in the game but I know we need points.”

It will be a tough ask to leave Carrow Road with all three points, but Milanic is right: Leeds have to start winning and the sooner the better…
