Leeds United legend Eddie Gray believes that the side have been missing ‘a touch of flair’ so far this season.
The former Scotland international winger made his comments in his column for The Yorkshire Evening Post, adding that the presence of Adryan could help in that department.
'Obviously Adryan came on as a sub at Rotherham but I still don’t know much about him', wrote Gray. 'Coming on as a sub is a bit different to starting games, but having said that, if the boy is good enough then he should get an opportunity.
'Hopefully he will progress and give us that something that we’ve been missing this season – a touch of flair in the final third of the field'.
Adryan joined Leeds from Flamengo on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer, but so far he has played just 27 minutes of competitive football for the Championship outfit.
The 20-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder made his first appearance for Leeds against Rotherham United away from home in the league on Friday.
The youngster came on in the 63rd minute and gave a good account of himself, winning two dribbles and making three attempts on goal.
Adryan showed flair and creativity against Rotherham, and he is likely to do so against Norwich if he is handed a start.
It is not yet clear if Leeds manager will start the Brazilian against Norwich, but fans will certainly want him to.
