Arsenal and Liverpool target crashes car

Lazio forward Keita Baldé Diao wrote off his Lamborghini to continue a bleak spell in the Italian capital.

Former Barcelona youth product Keita Baldé Diao isn't having the best of times at Lazio and he was involved in a nasty car crash.

The 19-year-old talent impressed during Serie A appearances last season and is seen as a great prospect for the future.

However, Keita has been a peripheral figure this season at Lazio despite his agent claiming he rejected a £16 million move to Liverpool in the summer.

Liverpool and Arsenal continue to hover and Keita is unlikely to refuse the chance to leave in January should it arrive. He is currently struggling with fitness problems.

But any potential employer won't have been too delighted to hear that Keita crashed his Lamborghini at Corso Francia on the way out of Rome at around 4am.

Romatoday reports that Keita completely lost control of the car and crashed into Ponte Flaminio, but avoided any injury.

The car was not so lucky and was written off. The road had to be closed for around three hours to allow for the road to be cleared of debris.

While the full story of the incident isn't yet known, it won't have helped Keita's chances of convincing a club to take a chance on him.
