With plenty of rumours floating about regarding Adnan Januzaj in recent days, Manchester United fans will be happy to read the latest comments attributed to the player’s agent.

Alice McKeegan, content editor and sports writer for the Manchester Evening News, has tweeted comments from Januzaj’s agent in which he appears to put to bed claims the teenager could be on his way.

“We know the club is very happy with him and they want to keep Adnan for the rest of his career,” the representative is quoted as saying.

He then went on to suggest Januzaj could feature against West Bromwich Albion, saying, “I believe Adnan plays well at this moment and I’ve heard that he could start the game on Monday.”

In other news, United boss Louis van Gaal reportedly wants some of his younger players to be involved in England’s under-21 European Championship campaign next summer.

In quotes published by the Daily Mail, the Dutchman said, “That tournament is a very good education and I said that as the coach of the Dutch national team as well.”
