Harry Redknapp's brutally honest assessment of Adel Taarabt

Adel Taarabt

The Queens Park Rangers boss says he 'can't keep defending' the Moroccan.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has blasted Adel Taarabt with a brutally honest assessment of the Moroccan.

Redknapp was talking to reporters after his side's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool, in which they were incredibly unlucky at Loftus Road.

A classic Premier League clash - in terms of entertainment not quality of football - ended with the Rs losing thanks to a last-gasp Steven Caulker own goal. Richard Dunne had previously also scored at the wrong end.

And many critics have asked why Redknapp isn't utilising Taarabt more. Here was his response regarding the Moroccan:

Taarabt is considered to have the talent and creativity to help QPR, just as Eduardo Vargas did by scoring twice after coming on for the west London side against the Reds.

But Redknapp has previously admitted that the 25-year-old is overweight and free to leave the Rs if anyone puts an offer in for him.

The only problem, according to the QPR boss, is that no one wants him. Nor do QPR at the moment, it seems.
