Big things are expected of Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish, who is enjoying his breakthrough season and recently signed a new long-term deal at the club. But the teenager has some way to go before he can influence games the way Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho did against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday - a performance Grealish could not help but praise.
Coutinho came off the bench in the second half to score Liverpool's second and play a huge part in their third, and the Villa youngster took to Twitter to write, "Coutinho got them dancer's hips absolute baller."
Grealish used a lot more l's than that, but the point was clear - Coutinho was outstanding on Sunday and that is a level Grealish will hope he too can reach one day. The 19-year-old is just starting out on his own footballing journey, but careers can change in single moments, and one wonders if Coutinho's did this weekend.
After all, he was only on the bench and up until that game he had not scored or assisted all season. Now he most certainly has, and one wonders if his recent game for Brazil - in which he laid on a fine goal for Neymar - has given Coutinho the confidence to finally play at his best on a consistent basis.
As for Grealish, he will hope to one day have fellow professionals taking to social media to praise some of his own individual performances for Villa.
