Jack Jebb has revealed his happiness with featuring for Stevenage yesterday.
When Jack Jebb first started to make his name at Arsenal he was being immediately compared to Jack Wilshere, mostly because he plays midfield and is called Jack.
Of course there is more to it than that. He is a technically gifted midfield player with plenty of potential to go far in the game, even if his talent does not match that of his namesake.
But in recent times things have been difficult for Jebb. There was the furore over an FA charge for racist language a year ago and he has struggled for regular football in the under-21s and not progressed like he should have, considering his early promise.
And he featured yesterday. He entered the fray in the 56th minute for former Tottenham starlet Dean Parrett to make his professional debut.
Stevenage went on to win the game 2-1, and judging by this Tweet, Jebb was pleased to make his professional bow.
