Robin van Persie has certainly been a hit at Manchester United, and he was certainly a hit at Arsenal. He has not been bad for The Netherlands either throughout his career - and throughout that time he has dealt in one currency, goals.
Van Persie has scored 204 goals in his club career while he is also the record goalscorer for Holland with 48 goals. Putting the ball in the back of the net simply comes naturally to the 31-year-old Dutchman.
But what is his favourite goal?
For many Arsenal fans it would be hard to imagine him picking anything other than that strike against Charlton Athletic. He seemingly levitated before smashing a left foot volley into the back of the net, a goal that truly announced himself to the Premier League.
But sorry Arsenal fans, Van Persie has snubbed you once again.
Because in an interview with the official Manchester United fanzine United Uncovered he revealed that his two favourite goals in his career were more recent - one for Manchester United and one was just this summer for his national team at the World Cup.
"[My favourite goal ever scored] The volley against Aston Villa and the [headed] goal at the World Cup in Brazil this summer against Spain."
His volley against Villa was certainly one to remember. It helped him win his first Premier League title and Manchester United's 20th top flight title.
Meanwhile his goal in the World Cup is perhaps the best headed goal ever seen, although that is a matter of opinion, but the manner of it's presence in a 5-1 win against then World Champions Spain is what perhaps made it so special for the Manchester United striker.
