The South Americans took part in Manchester United training on Friday, ahead of their Premier League clash with West Brom on Monday.

Manchester United received a boost of two kinds during training on Friday.

Firstly, several previously injured players returned to action at Carrington - much to boss Louis van Gaal's relief.

Secondly, though, the likes of Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Marcos Rojo and more trained after returning from international duty - a relief in itself that they did not pick up any new injuries.

The timely returns will aid United in their bid to win their fourth Premier League game in five against West Brom on Monday night.

Ahead of that clash, Van Gaal told reporters: "West Brom are very difficult to beat, especially at their home... but we have to start with a victory after the international break.

"I have confidence in my players & that's important. But it's more important they have confidence in the manager & staff. We could have done better [before] because I don't think we're balanced yet.

"The players understand the philosophy but they must perform it. I'm looking for balance, not just spectacular attacking football."

Man United fans will no doubt hope their players were taking all of their manager's words in on the training ground. The Baggies will be no pushovers and onlookers will be expecting a raised level of performance from United.

In the meantime, here are the best pictures from Friday's training session!
