What a day for Southampton Saturday was.
Not only did Ronald Koeman's side beat Sunderland by eight goals - their biggest victory since 1921 - but they stayed third in the Premier League table, three points above fourth and just six points behind league-leaders Chelsea (!)
Southampton fans have rarely seen such high-flying form and their heroes were full of positivity on social media after the win.
Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic were two stars of the show and the former was all too happy to use the #8Goals hastag on Twitter following the 8-0 conquest.
Defender Toby Alderweireld, meanwhile, was delighted to have kept another clean sheet but demonstrated perhaps why the Saints are doing so well.
Indeed, despite his joy, the 25-year-old Belgian insisted it is time to focus simply on their next match the following Saturday.
Amazing result today. 8-0!!And very happy with another clean sheet! Enjoy today. But tomorrow start… http://t.co/BBADM35Pi7— Alderweireld Toby (@AlderweireldTob) October 18, 2014
And goalkeeper Fraser Forster praised a 'fantastic result,' although he kept his tweeting rather simple and understated.
It was left to boss Koeman to round things off on his own personal Twitter account, which he did in typically calm and professional fashion.
But the picture he tweeted is one Southampton fans will remember for many, many years to come.
