Arsenal’s disappointing start to the 2014-15 Premier League campaign continued on Saturday as they played out a 2-2 draw with Hull City at the Emirates Stadium.
Things started well for the Gunners at home as star summer signing Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
However, a controversial striker from Mohamed Diame saw West Ham draw level in North London just four minutes later, and Abel Hernandez headed them ahead in the opening minute of the second half.
Arsenal went out on the attack in the second half and got the equaliser in injury time through Danny Welbeck, as the spoils were eventually shared.
It was yet another disappointing result for manager Arsene Wenger, who saw Jack Wilshere pick up a knee injury.
As for Hull, they must be delighted with the point they picked up at Arsenal, although manager Steve Bruce would probably a bit frustrated that his side conceded the late equaliser.
