Chelsea continued their march towards the Premier League title with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace away from home on Saturday.
Oscar gave the Blues the lead in the sixth minute, but the hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 40th minute when Cesar Azpilicueta was sent off.
However, Palace defender Damien Delaney was also dismissed before the half-time interval, and Cesc Fabregas made it 2-0 to Chelsea just six minutes into the second half.
Fraizer Campbell halved the deficit late on to give Jose Mourinho’s side a scare, but the visitors eventually picked up the three points.
The win at Selhurst Park means that Chelsea remain top of the Premier League with 22 points from eight matches, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
The star of the show for Chelsea against Palace was probablu Oscar, but former Arsenal captain Fabregas did not have a bad game.
The Spain international midfielder, who joined the London club from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, scored his first Premier League goal for Chelsea, and it eventually proved to be the winner.
Chelsea fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Fabregas. Below are the best reactions:
