Tottenham Hotspur suffered another disappointing defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Saturday...or should that be at the hands of Sergio Aguero? After all, the Argentina international scored all four goals in the Blues' 4-1 win, with Christian Eriksen replying for the visitors.
But as good as Aguero played, Federico Fazio had a debut to forget, with the summer signing sent off after 67 minutes for pulling back the City player and subsequently conceding the last of four penalties.
We all know Fazio did not see out the game, but how did he do while he was on the pitch? Well in truth, not too well, with the centre-back having a pass accuracy of just 66.67 per cent, and making little impact against City's impressive attack.
The Tottenham player won just two ground duels and a single tackle, while he failed to win any aerial duels or make any outfield blocks. He also made just two effective clearances and of course that fateful foul, although he did make three important interceptions.

To judge a player on their Premier League debut is wrong. After all, some of the best players to have graced the English top flight had nightmares the first time they pulled on one shirt or another.
But Fazio needs to do much better when he is back on the pitch, especially when you consider there are a number of other defenders vying for a starting spot at White Hart Lane.
