Rotherham United boss Steve Evans is preparing for his side to face new Leeds United signing Adryan.

Rotherham United boss Steve Evans admits he cannot predict how Leeds United will line up against them, but he is preparing for every eventuality.

This includes Darko Milanic's wildcard selection for Leeds, Brazilian playmaker Adryan, who is tipped to make his debut.

The 20-year-old has been restricted to under-21 football since signing during the transfer window, but academy boss Neil Redfearn confirmed this week that he would be involved in some shape or form against the Millers.

Evans told The Yorkshire Post: "As a manager when you are preparing for Leeds United, in its current state of affairs, you do not really know who you will play against.

“What we do know is we need to prepare for three or four different options. Does he play the English lads because it’s a derby or bring in the Brazilian kid
(Adryan) to make his debut?

"There’s a whole load of connotations we will only really be aware off an hour or so before kick-off."

Leeds' large squad can be challenging in terms of keeping everybody guessing, but Evans' quotes suggest how the uncertainty helps create confusion and uncertainty among their opponents.

Rotherham may be preparing for Adryan, but even Leeds are unsure as to quite what they are going to get from the Brazilian, and if he does not feature, Evans' team will have wasted crucial preparation time.
