Former Newcastle United star held in the least regard by PSG fans of their present midfield options.
There is not a Newcastle United fan who would not take back Yohan Cabaye if given the chance, yet supporters at his current side appear underwhelmed with him.
The 28-year-old finds himself in and out of the Paris Saint-Germain team, and recently admitted his desire to play more regularly.
Yet despite being so overloaded they can barely fit him in at times, there is a huge desire at the Parisien club to sign former Manchester United trainee Paul Pogba.
Now of Juventus, Pogba is growing into the world star he has been touted to be, only fuelling PSG's desire to bring him back to France.
A poll in France this week asked fans which PSG midfielder they would want to sacrifice to make way for Pogba, and it was his international teammate Cabaye who emerged as the big loser.
The results, per Le10Sport, has more than two thirds - 68 per cent - of supporters choosing Cabaye as their most disposable talent.
Behind him were Thiago Motta (16 per cent), Javier Pastore (9 per cent), Marco Verratti (4 per cent) and Blaise Matuidi (3 per cent).
It's doubtful PSG would waste their time trying to lure Pogba mid-season, as Juventus are even more determined to hold onto him than Arturo Vidal.
For Cabaye however, this only further illustrates the need for him to seize his opportunities and begin to make himself seen as crucial to their success, which he has not yet done at the club.
