Jason Mewes to appear as Jay in Randal’s Monday

Jay And Silent Bob

Silent Bob’s vociferous hetero life partner to make a cameo in the upcoming point & geek adventure.

We heard recently about Clerk’s actor Jeff Anderson’s major part in the upcoming point and click adventure Randal’s Monday. Now it’s been announced by Nexus Game Studios and Daedalic Entertainment that the game is to also feature a cameo with voice honours from fellow Clerks player Jason Mewes.

Mewes is to play himself in the role of Jay from the Clerks movies. The announcement blurb states: “The characters of Jay & Silent Bob both make appearances within Randal’s Monday, hanging out (as they so often do) in a back alley and discussing things from the “Clerks” movies that made them famous.”

Randal’s Monday, sets the title’s character Randal Hicks in a Groundhog Day-esque scenario of living through a perpetual Monday after pulling off a douchebag move on his best friend Matt.

The game is rich with references to all good things geek, retro gaming consoles, movies and TV shows from the 80s 90s and early 2000s - a veritable feast of nostalgic fan service, “ for every single {one} of your geek-senses and a tribute to a whole generation of fans and the heroes they grew up with.

“Players can look forward not only to many, many nostalgic items, but also cynical humor and a bizarre top notch story.”

Randal’s Monday is due for release on PC this Autumn, stayed tuned for our review coming soon.
