Here is how the Arsenal Under-21 side will line up for the clash against their Blackburn Rovers counterparts, featuring Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry.
Theo Walcott will make his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt tonight when the club’s Under-21 side take on their Blackburn Rovers counterparts.
The England international forward has been out of all action since January due to a knee injury he picked up against Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup.
Walcott returned to training with the Arsenal first team this week and will continue his recovery by featuring tonight.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had already stated that the 25-year-old will feature at Meadow Park, explaining: “He will play on Friday night in the under-21s. He has been out for nine months and needs to find some rhythm in the game and some confidence to go into the contact’.
German winger Serge Gnabry will also start tonight. The 19-year-old winger has been out since January.
