Xbox One update for October is now live

Xbox One System

Microsoft have released the latest update for the Xbox One console.

Microsoft's latest update for Xbox One is now available to download. The features have been put through their paces by beta testers until now.

New snap-app functionality has been implemented, allowing you to quickly snap, un-snap, or switch back to the last app you were using.

You can now find your controller if you've misplaced it too, with a function that makes it vibrate so you can locate it.

The update overview video from Larry Hyrb aka Major Nelson is below, and you can head on over to his blog for a more detailed rundown of all the tweaks and changes.

A new app was released a couple of days ago too, the Vine app. It's a direct feed to the Vine service allowing users to snap it to whatever game they're playing or TV they're watching, letting them watch those 6 second clips at the same time.
