Tottenham Hotspur morning news: Davies message for Rose, City double blow

A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Ben Davies says he hopes his first team chance at Spurs isn’t too far away.

The Welshman has struggled to dislodge Danny Rose from the first team following a summer move from Swansea City.

“It’s a difficult situation because you want to play as many games as you can. I’m working as hard as I can and hopefully that time is not too far away,” he said.

Manchester City could be missing Yaya Toure and Fernandinho for the Premier League clash against Spurs this weekend.

Fernandinho is carrying a hamstring problem while Toure may not feature due to a lack of recovery time after international commitments with the Ivory Coast.

Tottenham are moving in on a ground share option with League One side the MK Dons.

Spurs have been forced to find a temporary home for the 2017/2018 season due to a delay in the expansion of White Hart Lane.

The Mail claims that the club could also play up to three games at Wembley Stadium.
