Ryan Giggs has said that he is enjoying working with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
Van Gaal was appointed the Red Devils manager in May and Giggs was made the club’s assistant boss.
Former Wales international winger Giggs took charge of United for the last four Premier League games last season following the dismissal of David Moyes.
Giggs gave a good account of himself during that period, wining two games and drawing one, but he says that he is learning more under Van Gaal.
‘It's a great experience for me to work under such a top manager who has such a good track record’, the 40-year-old told United’s official website. ‘I'm really enjoying it and the manager has been really good with me.
‘I'm doing as much as I can to make sure we're in form and ready for each game. A lot of work goes into that and we're slowly seeing the benefits of it’.
Giggs has been suggested as a possible candidate to eventually succeed Van Gaal. During his short tenure as United’s caretaker-boss, he showed that he has the calibre to manage the Manchester outfit.
