Mathieu Flamini has revealed that Tomas Rosicky is his best friend at Arsenal.
The French midfielder disclosed the information during a Twitter Q&A on Arsenal’s official Twitter page on Thursday.
Flamini: That's Tomas Rosicky. I've known him for 10 years now and I know everything about him... including his secrets! #AskFlamini— Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) October 16, 2014
Rosicky and Flamini both are veterans of the current Arsenal squad and are senior members of the team.
Flamini joined the Gunners from Marseille in the summer of 2004 and played for the North London club until 2008.
The Frenchman’s start to his Arsenal career was slow, but he burst into life in the 2007-08 season. In the summer of 2008, Flamini left for AC Milan.
Last summer manager Arsene Wenger brought Flamini back to Arsenal. The midfielder established himself as a first-team regular for the Gunners and proved to be a key acquisition for them.
Meanwhile, Rosicky has been at Arsenal since 2006 and is now 34 years of age. The Czech Republic international’s current contract with the Premier League outfit runs out in June 2016.
