Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has congratulated Luis Suarez for winning the Golden Shoe.
The Uruguay international striker won the prestigious award for scoring the most number of league goals in the 2013-14 season in Europe.
Suarez found the target no fewer than 31 times for Liverpool in the Premier League last season and shared the award with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also scored 31 goals in La Liga for Real Madrid.
Suarez joined Barcelona in the summer transfer window for a reported fee of £75 million, but Enrique fondly remembers the 27-year-old’s heroics for the Reds last season.

Suarez has yet to make his competitive debut for Barcelona as he is still serving his FIFA-imposed ban. However, that suspension is due to end later this month, and the former Ajax star is likely to feature for the Catalan giants against arch-rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico.
