A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday evening.

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino gave an update on the fitness of Hugo Lloris ahead of his side's trip to Manchester City on Saturday.

Lloris suffered a groin injury on international duty, but the indications are positive that the Frenchman will be fit to face the Champions.

Pochettino told reporters: “Is Lloris a doubt? Maybe. Hugo arrived yesterday and was good but we need to analyse and test him and we have another day to decide."

Nacer Chadli has said he is fully focussed with the rest of the players ahead of Saturday's huge clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Tottenham had been sweating on the fitness of the Belgian but it appears he will be fit enough to play on Saturday lunchtime after complaint with his hip.

He's quoted by the club website, saying: "I’m fully focused with the rest of our players here at Spurs on this Saturday with a big game against City.

“After that we’ll see about the Europa League, as we need to win the next game there too.”

Defender Milos Velkjovic has joined Middlesbrough on a three-month loan deal. The defender has so far made three appearances for the Spurs first team.

Discussions over whether Tottenham can share Stadium:MK with Milton Keynes Dons are underway according to several sources as the club looks for a temporary home for the 2017/18 campaign, as the new stadium won't be ready by then.

The Daily Mirror has reported that three games could be played at Wembley Stadium but the prospect of moving to Milton Keynes for a season hasn't pleased a member of the Tottenham Hotspur Supports Trust.

A member said: "Moving away from the area threatens serious damage to the identity of a club which has always played in north London.

"A football club divorces itself from its community and identity at its peril."
