Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has denied that under-fire goalkeeper Iker Casillas could leave the club.
Iker Casillas is going through a tough time after making a costly mistake for Spain against Slovakia and there have been rumours he could be headed for the Premier League.
The 33-year-old may lose his place in the national side permanently to Manchester United's David de Gea and there have been suggestions in the media that his days at Real are numbered.
However, coach Carlo Ancelotti has firmly refuted any exit talk, stressing that Casillas is a legend at the Bernabeu.
"His future is here. He is part of the history of the club and in several years when he quits playing he will attend this forum along with other great ex-Real players to talk about all the European Cups he has won wearing this shirt."
Casillas still seems to be a popular figure within the Real Madrid camp and his recent loss of form has caused declarations of support from current and former teammates.
The homegrown talent has only ever played for Real Madrid, working his way up from their C team, and he has made a staggering 484 appearances.
