Great result last night.. Happy I got this jersey to add to my small collection pic.twitter.com/ZYPKK6tyCs— Jeff Hendrick (@JeffHendrick92) October 15, 2014
A second half substitute, Hendrick made a telling impact on the contest, providing the assist for Sunderland's John O'Shea to fire home a 90th minute equaliser.
The following night, Hendrick showed off the spoils of the battle, having exchanged shirts with Bayern Munich superstar Mario Gotze after the game.
The German international's shirt will be one for him to cherish and frame, for it will be hard to top a player who has netted the winning goal in the World Cup Final.
22-year-old Hendrick has made seven starts for Derby this season, scoring twice and providing two assists.
