Chelsea star Eden Hazard explains why he does not want PSG move

Eden Hazard has made another attempt at drawing a line underneath the constant rumours of a PSG switch.

Eden Hazard has had an excellent start to the season under Jose Mourinho, as Chelsea top the Premier League after an excellent start to the season.

While much of the focus has, rightly, been on the form of summer signings Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, Hazard has been excellent as well this season - the most recent game against Arsenal perhaps his best of the campaign.

Of course Hazard remains a coveted man. The team that always seems to come up with a reported interest in his signature is French big-spenders Paris Saint-Germain.

The Belgian had many good years in Ligue 1 with Lille, and PSG are credited with an interest in Hazard on an almost monthly basis.

Hazard, who cost Chelsea around £32 million when he arrived from Lille in 2012, has however always maintained that he will be going nowhere - insisting that PSG were not a potential destination.

In fact, just last month he was doing just that, fending off questions about his potential departure.

Now it seems he wants to put a line underneath these rumours once and for all.

The Chelsea star has categorically denied any truth in rumours linking him with PSG. As reported via the official Twitter account of Belgian journalist Kristoff Terreur, he has told the media in Belgium that he has zero interest in returning to France - as he has already won everything in the country whilst with Lille.

Here are the Tweets in question...

For Hazard he will now hope that the PSG questions are finally put to bed. He is a Chelsea player and looks like being a Chelsea player for the foreseeable future.

A move to PSG is simply not on the cards.
