The Daily Mail claims Tottenham Hotspur will give Nacer Chadli every chance of featuring against Manchester City this weekend.
The Belgian has suffered a flare up of a hip problem during the international break but Belgium’s medical team is reportedly convinced that the problem isn’t serious.
“Belgium’s medical team are confident the injury is not serious, but Tottenham will assess the situation before a decision on Chadli’s availability for Saturday’s clash at Manchester City,” reports the Mail.
Chadli’s importance to the current Tottenham Hotspur side is demonstrated by the fact he’s their top scorer this season.
He also carried momentum into, and throughout, the international break with a goal against Arsenal in the North London derby backed up by a goal for Belgium in the win against Andorra.
However, as this report suggests, he’ll take a sensible approach to the player’s injury and can be backed not to do anything, which will risk making any persistent hip problem even worse.
