Leeds striker on international break
Leeds United's Billy Sharp says that he was happy for the international break, as it gave him a chance to clear his head.
Sharp has lost his place in the starting line-up at Elland Road and said that he needed to two week break to calm his frustrations.
"I am happy for this break just to clear my head," he said to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Peter Clarke desperate to play Huddersfield
Blackpool defender Peter Clarke is hoping to play against his former club at the weekend, as he looks to recover from an injury.
The ex-Huddersfield Town captain has been trying to recover from a twisted colon and he admits that he is desperate to make it back for Saturday's match.
"I’m feeling a lot better, I am back in training, and of course, I and desperate to play against Town, but that’s down to the manager (Jose Riga)," he said to the Examiner.
Clough wants repeat performance
Sheffield United may have only picked up a point against Leyton Orient, but Nigel Clough wants to see a repeat of that performance against Bradford City this weekend.
The Blades conceded in the last minute to let slip of the three points, but it was still a display with pleased Clough.
“That is the template of how we want to play, wherever we are,” Clough said to the Sheffield Star.
“The last two home performances [Gillingham and Orient] haven’t yielded six points but they are indicative of what we want to do."
