Belgium claimed an important draw away to Bosnia on Monday night, but had to do it without Nacer Chadli.
The in-form Tottenham Hotspur star had been expected to start but complained at a hip problem in the lead up to the game.
He sat out the 1-1 draw, with Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur confirming it was due to injury.

His injury created a headache for coach Marc Wilmots, and one the national side did not effectively address, even though they came away with a point from the tricky away tie.
Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblade wrote: "The absence of Chadli caused more problems than it should have.
"Origi moved on the flank with no effect, especially since it is expected of him that he works defensively. He did too little.
"The team had to much to rely on the individual actions of Hazard or Origi. They lacked the dynamic changes with position in the midfield."
Chadli has been in impressive form of late for club and country, there is yet no projection as to how long, and if, his injury will cause him to miss any game time for Spurs.
