Report: Juventus leave Keita race to Arsenal and Liverpool

Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao is expected to leave the Italian side shortly and reports suggest Arsenal and Liverpool are in pole position to sign him.

Keita Balde Diao is a massive talent for the future and he doesn't seem settled at Lazio, so potential suitors are jostling for position.

The former Barcelona youth product is just 19 but already showing signs of maturity, plus he brings a versatility because he can play either as a forward or on the left.

Juventus have reportedly been watching Keita for over a year, but the Italian champions seem to have realised that they will be outgunned in an auction and may withdraw from the race.

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Arsenal and Liverpool are preparing to table offers, possibly as soon as January.

Lazio have a recent history of developing and then selling off talent and Keita looks likely to follow that trend, which may be why he currently feels isolated at the club.

It was reported by the player's agent that Lazio turned down a bid of around £15 million from Liverpool in the summer, but that hasn't been confirmed.
