Arsenal latest: World Cup striker linked with £15m move despite Chelsea and Spurs interest

All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the Emirates Stadium...

Arsenal's internationals are gradually filtering back to North London after the international break, with the Gunners preparing to face Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. England left back Kieran Gibbs featured against San Marino last week, and has praised his team mate from club and country Danny Welbeck for what he adds to the Arsenal side.

"Danny is going to be very important for Arsenal because he’s given us another dimension to our play," said Gibbs. "His hold-up play is good and he is quick and strong. He can also run behind the final defender. His attitude is spot-on and his move to the club seems to have given him a new challenge, which he is rising to. I am pleased to see him performing so well and scoring goals regularly, which we knew he could do."

Meanwhile, the January transfer window is creeping up on us, and Arsenal should be active given their needs for a centre back and centre midfield. One potential target is Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, and now the agent of the Dinamo Zagreb star has admitted that he intends to hold talks with the Gunners in November.

"Croatia plays USA in November in London and during our stay there we will hold meetings and negotiate with several English teams," Bicanic told Goal. "Yes, I can confirm Arsenal are one of them."

Another transfer link being reported is that Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike is an alleged target. The Fenerbahce hitman featured for Nigeria at this summer's World Cup, and despite being linked with moves to Arsenal's London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham, it has been reported in Turkey today that Arsene Wenger is eyeing a £15m bid for the 27-year-old.
